Business Objects would like to extend you an invitation to the APJ Partner Summit 2008 Gala Dinner. Hosted at perhaps one of the most ancient citadels in Vietnam,
Co Loa, the theme of the evening is ”The Citadel of Thang Long”. “Thang Long” means Rising Dragon.
While mythical tales of a magical crossbow & divine tortoise intertwining with historical facts abound, all versions concur that that Co Loa is the site of an early Vietnamese kingdom known as the Kingdom of Au-Lac. It was founded by King An Duong Vuong between 214 and 208 BC. The name Co Loa, translated as “City of Conch”, was derived from the materials used for fortification of the city walls in ancient times – sea shells and conch.
Thus, you will be dining at a venue steeped in Vietnamese culture and history of more than 2000 years.
Co Loa is located approximately 25 minutes from Sheraton Hanoi. |
